Books Needed

We receive a steady stream of books for children but there are books needed which do not show up in the regular book donations.

Graphic Novels for Elementary and Middle school students

There are 4 th grade students reading at 2nd grade level. Also there are 7th grade students reading at the elementary grade level. Graphic novels are more appealing to these students.

Spanish and Biliingual books

Many of the new students in WCCUSD are Spanish speaking. To encourage them to keep reading it is necessary to provide Spanish and bilingual books. Spanish-English bilingual books provide a unique opportunity for families to encourage reading in the home.

*Book Donations can be left at the collection bin at Kensington Library or directly at the Educators Book Depot during regular hours.
